Samsung Top Load Washer

I’ve been using the Samsung washer for a few months now. There are a few things I love and a few things I wished it had. To start with what I love. Before this top loading washer, I had a front facing one. I thought I would always be a front facing washer type. But I realized the water would pool on the door and it would mold – so then I wouldn’t really know if it was cleaning my clothes. My clothes feel clean with this new washer. Second, I wasn’t sure if I’d like having to bend over and reach tall to get my clothes from a top loader. Surprisingly, Samsung didn’t make this an issue. It is easy to turn the inside bin and grab all the clothes. I also love how many clothes this washer fits. I don’t love doing laundry (who does?) and I want to get as many clothes done in as little loads as possible; this allows for that.
Now here is where I wish it was better. While the capacity is huge! For you to wash such a big load, you have to do it on heavy load in order to get the water level high enough to wash the big load. This means each time I do laundry it takes over 1.5 hours per load. That’s a lot of time. Second, my old washer – I could just pour a lot of detergent in at once and it used precision technology to automatically add the soap and fabric softener for many loads and then it would tell me when it was low. I have to manually add the detergent and fabric softener each time I wash. Not a huge thing to do, but it did take me a minute to adjust and I miss just loading and going. Other than these, I actually really enjoy the washer and I enjoy instead of an annoying beep when the load is done, it does a little song chime instead. I’d recommend this washer. It’s more on the basic level, but it is nice and gets the job done!
